From an artistic animal spotting trail, to the brand new and exciting talk everyday at 3:45pm, where you will find out all about our wonderful axolotls.
Make sure to show your creative flair with our animal spotting trail, as you weave your way around the aquarium. Draw some of our amazing animals and be in with a chance of winning prizes by handing the sheets back into the reception desk.

The New Axolotls Talk!
We will also be hosting an extra talk, with our Axolotl talk & feed within the Amazon section. Delve into the astonishing life of these popular amphibians and learn about some of their incredible features. Our aquarist will also explain a more into their day-to-day life and educate people on their endangerment.
This talk will last around 15 minutes, with it only lasting from Saturday 27th May – Sunday 4th June.
These wonderous activities will be taking place for one week only, so make sure to come down to Tynemouth Aquarium during the holidays!
