Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Start your Easter celebrations with a fun-filled family morning at Tynemouth Aquarium. Our Breakfast with the Easter Bunny event is the perfect way for little ones to enjoy some Easter magic while exploring the wonders of the ocean.
Your morning begins with a delicious family breakfast, followed by the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and snap a photo together. Every child will receive their own Easter egg, and there’ll be plenty of opportunities to get creative at our arts and crafts station.
The fun continues outside with an Easter egg hunt, before heading over to meet our playful seals during their daily activities.
Best of all, your ticket includes all-day entry to the aquarium, so you can spend the rest of the day discovering incredible marine life, from colourful tropical fish to fascinating underwater habitats.

Ocean Lab – Easter Holidays

This Easter half-term, discover the deep sea’s hidden details like never seen before as Tynemouth Aquarium transforms into an Ocean Lab!
What’s On:
Become budding ocean scientists by exploring the hidden mysteries of the ocean. Look closer at marine life through a microscope to uncover its secrets.
Follow our quiz trail and participate in our laboratory workshops, taking place every day of half-term!
Watch a live dissection of a squid (not for the squeamish!) and uncover basic biology of a cephalopod as we prepare for Shark feeding at 11:20am every day.
Get hands-on with pipettes, refractometers and more to dive deep into different water types & their habitable species, as well as becoming an expert in ocean pollution and how to Save Our Seas at 14:20pm every day!
Our expert Aquarists will be around all day to answer questions and share their expert knowledge for any aspiring aquarists joining us this half-term.
