We are pleased to announce we’ll be opening our restaurant, shop and outdoor areas everyday from 12th April!
In line with government guidelines, Tynemouth Aquarium itself will remain closed, however we will be opening our restaurant, shop and outdoor areas including seal enclosure and children’s play area!
Bay and Laurel Restaurant
Our Bay and Laurel Restaurant will be opening from 12th April everyday 10am-4pm, (weather dependant).
We are providing take out food and drink services, as well as some outdoor seating too. Enjoy the beautiful sea views with a hot drink from our Lavazza coffee range, or tuck into a bite to eat – there is plenty of fresh and delicious hot and cold food to choose from!
If you’d prefer a sweet treat why not grab an ice cream and take a stroll!
Finn Island Gift Shop
Pop into our gift shop and browse through the aisles that are teeming with ocean-inspired memorabilia!
Get your hands on our huge variety of popular plush, or why not grab a cuddly toy. We have stationary, jewellery, toys and eco-friendly gifts too. There’s something to suit every pocket!
Outdoor Areas
For those that purchase something in our restaurant, we are offering use of the outdoor areas of the aquarium too!
Check out our seal enclosure and marvel at these wonderful creatures up close. Plus let your little ones let off some steam in our outdoor play area.
