If you’re reaching us by car, follow the A19, taking the A1058 (Coast Road) signposted to Tynemouth. Then follow signs towards Tynemouth Seafront.

Please be aware that both the car parks surrounding the aquarium are owned and operated by North Tyneside Council. Please see signage for tariffs and payment options.
Public Transport
If you’re catching the Metro, get off at the Cullercoats stop and it’s just a short 10-minute walk along the seafront to the aquarium.
If you’re catching the bus, get the Go North East service from Gateshead to the coast. It is service number 1 and it stops off just by the aquarium.
Alternatively the Arriva 306 from Newcastle city centre also stops nearby.
